Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your way acknowldege Him, and he will make straight your paths.
I love cars and love to keep my cars clean and detailed. It’s a lot of work to clean one up once they get dirty but, I try everyday to keep the inside and outside clean. Sometimes something happens and you get a ding or a dent and you have to do more than clean the car, you have to restore the dent back to its original shape and shine. My life is like a car being restored. It get’s dirty, dinged and dented, sometimes there is even rust that pops up. I cannot keep my life clean and detailed without God’s forgiveness and His amazing grace and mercy. He can restore me daily, minute by minute when I confess my sins. Going to church each week is like going to put gas in my car, I need the encouragement and fuel from God’s word. But, following Chirst is more than going to church. It is going out to help others with there dents and dings, showing them the love of God.
